Kinitron received a grant from LDA's London Innovation back in 2004 to explore modern cost-effective telephony solutions for company switchboards, initially aimed to deliver cost savings and flexibility for small and mid-size companies.

Working closely with staff from the Department of Computing at Imperial College, Kinitron researched the market and developed a range of switchboard offerings all based on Voice-over-IP (VoIP) technologies and the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Live installations at customer sites started in September 2004 and have not ceased since then.

The current offerings include:

• Customization and CRM integration for corporation
• Call centre solution
• Voice recording

Our vision is 1p/min telephone calls to any landline or mobile at any time. We have made a start for all UK landlines and many international destinations.
